SANTA ROSA, Calif. - Some people just love heavy equipment -- bulldozers, back hoes, excavators and dump trucks.

  • Josh,
I also read the article in the Sarasota Hearld Tribune. I went to the web site and signed up. Sarasota and Charlotte county have been feeling the pain for 2 years. Oh but our top economist just now say we have been in a recession for a year. I have been in bussiness for 19 years we are tough and will survive. If anyone needs a GC for remodeling or new construction I am here for you (lol).

  • I have a Patent for a new building system. Clear plastic forms for steel reinforced concrete that are designed to stay in place to protect the steel, utilities and concrete from moisture intrusion. they make the structure waterproof. Question? are you allowed to share this information on this site?

    • Yes, best way is to upload your info under a company as a product. First upload/update your profile. By doing so it will create a company where you are working, and from there you can upload your projects or products. You can then post a discussion and point people to your company and products where photo's and more detail will be located. See an example like: Spec West, or Western Water Constructors, Inc.
      Did this help or confuse?

  • I think the most valuable information on this site is that we can match people in different regions with opportunity. I know that I can work a project from home on the back end with document support. Using Citrix, P6/Expedition software the limits are endless. I had an interview where I would run a project in the "Green Zone" from my computer at home. I haven't heard if we won that bid yet, but it would be outstanding if that opportunity came along. The bottom line is we need to get people back to work. That is main issue that needs resolution!

  • We are really feeling the crunch in Florida. Personally, my office was closed down two weeks ago. I have an accounting background so my skills are transferable, and I will work through the tax season. After that, who knows.
