I am a member of server professional network sites- Construction Exchange (since 11/08), Linkedin, Naymz, and of course I have a Facebook, but that is mainly for family and friends. However there are groups like local Chamber of commerce and ABC, and Gulfcoast Builders Exchange that I follow. I am curious to know what networks others are involved with. Do you follow RSS feed? If so - Which ones?

Yes, but I cant see how that site has any use other then a place for all of us to meet up and share our woes. How bad it is for us all and we can cry on each others shoulders. Just like twitting it seems to be pointless. Glad to meet some nice people, but are we all wasting out time networking at a watering hole in the middle of the desert. It just seems like a good place to vent. Anyone made any money twitting or linking?

I have found a number of social networking sites very useful. LinkedIn is by far the best for professional networking. This site does not have nearly as much of the personal pontificating that other sites have. I don't RSS feed. I have been a part of Construction Exchange since the beginning, I am in Naymz, Plaxo, Twitter, Facebook and others. Which one is best for you will be determined by what you needs are.
