The days of fake Dot.com type companies and over inflated projections are dead. People are demanding more for their money. The only dumb asses spending recklessly seem to be our politicians. Down here in the real world you better have some good customer service and quality product for my dollar. Those in the business of talking about business should get a real job. We have too many talking heads. Get back to the basics of business. Provide a quality product or service at a fair price and we will buy it.

I do agree with your statements. We have been in the replacement bulb business for over 25 years. We were very strong in Medical and Scientific fields. Along came all of these Dot.com companies on line and offered bulbs for way under market value. They had no overhead and undercut everyone. No way to compete. But in the long run, there is also no Customer Service, no Back up and not really any knowledge when it came to identifying and sourcing the hard to get and out of production bulbs. Specialty Bulb prides itself on customer service, honesty, competitive prices and that is what will help us to bring business back up. People on the other end of the phone or email hear and know they are dealing with a company or a person that cares about the customer as well as the sale. Dealing with our vendors is the same way, if we are comfortable and feel like we are being taken care of, then yes, we are going to call you back again and again. That is how it should be.
